Meet the Doctor

drhardyknee.jpg Dr. Hardy, born in Kirkland, WA, has been in chiropractic practice for twenty-nine years, nineteen of those in the King/Pierce County area. He received his doctorate in chiropractic at Palmer Chiropractic College (known as "the fountainhead of chiropractic"), established in Davenport, Iowa, by Dr. D.D. Palmer, who discovered and developed the science of chiropractic.

Chiropractic is an "all American" science, developed in the USA, and now used in virtually every country in the world. It's interesting that the science of chiropractic was the first to adopt the use of x-rays, discovered by Dr. Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895, the same year that Dr. Palmer discovered and developed chiropractic.

Dr. Hardy is an active participant in the community, having been vice-president and trainer for the Auburn Panthers football team of the North West League, an active supporter of the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, and president of his homeowner's association. Prior to attending Palmer Chiropractic College, Dr. Hardy attended the University of Washington and LA Tech in Louisiana. At Palmer College he was president of Delta Delta Pi Fraternity. During his time at Palmer he was both student and instructor in X-Ray/Radiology.

He is a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and a charter member of the newly-formed Chiropractic Division of the Office and Professional Employees International Union.
